About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our talented team at AdviniaCare Naples! As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality service and experience for our residents. You will plan, prepare, and cook food items, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook food items in accordance with dietary needs and preferences

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all sanitation and food safety protocols

• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed

• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure menu planning and food preparation meet resident needs

• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, providing excellent customer service to residents and colleagues

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen

• Certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking

• Food handling certificate from your state

• Knowledge of geriatric diets

• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)

• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

• Capacity to work in a team
