Experienced Intermodal Terminal Manager

North Charleston, SC

We are looking for an experienced Intermodal Terminal Manager to oversee our North Charleston operation.

Intermodal experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands the day-to-day operations of a busy intermodal trucking terminal and can effectively manage drivers, dispatch, customers, and office personnel.

Requirements:

• Previous intermodal terminal management experience required
• Strong knowledge of Charleston-area ports and rail operations
• Experience managing and working with owner-operators
• Strong understanding of port and rail procedures, container availability, appointments, equipment issues, demurrage, and detention
• Ability to manage dispatch and daily driver operations
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Must be dependable, organized, and accountable
