Interim Utilization Management Manager

Interim Case Management Manager - Greater Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Interim Case Management Manager to lead care transitions and discharge planning for a hospital in the Greater Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a steady, clinically strong leader who can step in to stabilize and support staff while the hospital conducts a permanent search.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day management for the Case Management department
• Support nursing staff through high-acuity patient care and complex cases
• Partner closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care
• Focus on staff engagement, team cohesion, and operational consistency
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and quality standards

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven leadership experience in a union facility
• Active California RN license
• Calm, communicative, and team-oriented leadership style
• Full-time, onsite interim role in the Los Angeles area with travel home.
• Ability to start within 2-4 weeks from date of offer.
