We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Administrative Assistant to support quality-focused project operations for a major construction site in Lehi, Utah. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, keeps records accurate, and communicates effectively across project teams. The role will play an important part in maintaining documentation, coordinating reporting activities, and helping the Quality Control team stay organized and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials for quality-related meetings, record key discussion points, and distribute finalized meeting notes to the appropriate team members.
- Track and maintain the **deficiency log** in BIM 360.
- Organize and maintain project quality documentation received from internal staff, subcontractors, technicians, and other construction partners.
- Monitor and update deficiency tracking records within project management systems to ensure issues are documented and followed through to resolution.
- Maintain non-conformance documentation, keeping logs current and supporting timely visibility into outstanding items.
- Enter punch-list findings, follow their progress, and help confirm proper closeout of completed work items.
- Manage inspection and testing documentation within designated construction document platforms, ensuring records remain complete and accessible.
- Coordinate inspection and testing notifications with trade partners, testing firms, inspectors, and local agencies to support project timelines.
- Support document control activities by organizing completed quality records and transferring finalized files into long-term project storage systems.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Quality Control team, including reporting assistance, data entry, and general project coordination.
- Prior experience in an administrative support or project coordination role is required.
- Background in construction, engineering, quality assurance, document control, or another project-driven environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management or document control platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Egnyte, or similar systems is beneficial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation accurately.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across a project team.
- Comfortable handling data entry, record maintenance, and general office support responsibilities in a deadline-oriented setting.
