Day Shift Mon to Fri, Day- 7:15am to 4:00 PM

Swing Shift: Mon to Fri 3:15pm-12am

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Our Client is currently seeking an Electrical/RF Integration and Test Technician to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. In this role, you will support environmental and functional testing of spacecraft systems and subsystems as part of Intuitive Machine’s Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) operations. You will work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to ensure proper spacecraft performance, support anomaly investigations, and help prepare satellites for launch.

Responsibilities

· Set up, adjust, and calibrate standard test apparatus or device test equipment to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests for prototype and production spacecraft

· Perform spacecraft performance testing across various subsystems including communications, telemetry and command, thermal, power, propulsion, and attitude/control

· Apply power and configure spacecraft test systems per applicable test procedures

· Operate spacecraft test consoles, including payload and electrical test racks, per documented procedures

· Understand and operate standard electrical and radio frequency (RF) test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers

· Determine methods and sequences of operations for component and system testing per engineering specifications

· Analyze and interpret electrical and RF test data; diagnose malfunctions and provide test result feedback to vehicle and system engineers

· Write detailed technical reports describing system operating characteristics, test results, malfunctions, and deviations from design specifications

· Document test activities thoroughly, including test anomaly reports (TARs), nonconformance reports (NCRs), and shift pass-downs

· Adhere to quality policies and ISO directives while maintaining a strong focus on procedural compliance and attention to detail

· Collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, team members, and support staff

· Support off-shift, weekend, and holiday work as needed to meet program schedules

· Travel as required to support off-site environmental testing and launch base operations

Minimum Requirements

· Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

· Four years of spacecraft integration/electrical experience. Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field may be substituted in lieu of work experience

· Proficiency in Electrical Theory (DC, RF) and the use of Digital Multimeter, Network and Spectrum analyzer, basic computer software tools.

· Technical knowledge of at least two of the following spacecraft subsystems: RF communications, telemetry and command, thermal, power, propulsion, or attitude/control systems

Preferred Qualifications

· Two years of technical, engineering, or military training focused on electronics

· Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems and PC-based test software

· AS/AA degree in electronics or a related technical discipline

· Experience writing technical reports and documenting test results for engineering review

· Familiarity with environmental testing requirements for satellite systems

· Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

· Willingness to support variable shifts, weekend work, and travel as required
