Compensation:
- Hourly Pay:$24 - 34hr + 1.5x OT(commensuratewithexperience).

About the Position
As an HVAC Installer at Dave Jones, you will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive top-notch service and reliable equipment to keep their environments comfortable. What you'll do:
- Owntheinstall.Load/unloadequipment,cutsheetmetal,assemblecomponents,andinstallductwork,gasandcondensatepiping,andventingsafelyandtocode.
- Wireitright.Installandtroubleshootlow-voltagecontrolsandwiringtobringsystemsonlinesmoothly.
- Buildfromtheplan.Readblueprints(pre-drawnorfield-laid)andtranslatethemintoaccurate,efficientlayouts.
- Cutwithconfidence.Coreandcutopeningswhileprotectingstructuralintegrityandjobsitesafety.
- Staytwostepsahead.Keepmaterialsandtruckstockorganized;communicateneedstopreventreturntrips.
- Leadwhenneeded.Stepuptomanagetasksandcrewstokeeptimelinesontrack;helptrainapprenticesandfellowinstallers.
- Liveoursafetyculture.ModelandupholdtheDJSafetyCulturesoeveryteammateandpartnergoeshomesafe.
- Four10-hourdays,withovertimeasneeded;year-roundworktokeepyourskillssharpandpaysteady.
Requirements
Whatyou’llbring
- Experience:2+yearsofHVACconstructionorcurrently in anHVACapprenticeship.
- Credentials:Highschooldiploma/GEDandavaliddriver’slicense.
- Fieldskills:Comfortablewithhand/powertools;abletofollowinstructions,multitask,andcommunicateclearlywithfieldandofficeteams.
