DIESEL MECHANIC
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aDieselMechanicfora company based inGeismar,LA.In this role, you will have the opportunity to anchor yourself in a permanent, permanent-track position within a rapidly expanding facility. Pay Rate
$20.00- $30.00per hour– DOE
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,600 am to400 pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical components.
- Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and ensure safe operation.
- Complete repairs on loaders, excavators, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, and other construction equipment.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- Ability tolift upto 75 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions.
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to safety.
