Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

Mid sized precision defense and aerospace manufacturer with high mix, fast paced environment. Background in manual inspection required, faro and CMM experience preferred. This individual leads a team of 9-10 inspectors and has training mindset.

Position Summary:

Overall development, implementation and maintenance of Atlas's quality management system. Ensures QMS meets all regulations; evaluates vendors; oversees and participates in the activities of the quality team; provides feedback to production personnel regarding quality of parts produced; communicates with customers, vendors, and all departments to meet product requirements; reports metrics to top management; maintains internal auditing system.

Essential Functions:

1. Quality Assurance: Management of the Atlas Quality QMS, Document Control, and Quality Training
2. Quality Control: Inspection (Receiving / In-Process & Final / First Article), Outside Service Prep
3. Auditing: Internal System, Process, Product, & Supplier
4. Customer Satisfaction: Source Inspections / Corrective Actions / Customer Surveys
5. Overall Management of the Quality Team and Departmental Duties & Responsibilities
