Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation:Proficiently and safely operate a box truck in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Loading & Unloading:Efficiently and safely load, unload, and secure cargo.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate and organized daily activity logs, delivery manifests, and pre/post-trip documentation.
- Communication:Immediately report any issues, incidents, or delays to dispatch.
- Inspections:Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal working order.
Qualifications
- Experience:Proven professional experience as a truck driver or in a related commercial driving capacity.
- Area Knowledge:In-depth, working knowledge of the Tri-State area is mandatory.
- Physical Stamina:Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and manipulating cargo.
- Compliance:A clean and verifiable driving record is required.
- Commitment:Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety and reliability.
