Skilled Powder Coater
Overview
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Hours:6a-3:30p DAY SHIFT
Area: Batavia, Ohio
Pay: $20-26/hr BOE
We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a manufacturing team in Batavia, OH. This is a hands-on production role responsible for applying powder coatings to manufactured components while meeting customer color, quality, and finish specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply powder coatings to manufactured metal components
- Follow customer color and coating specifications
- Prepare and apply coating materials according to job requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
- Identify coating defects and make appropriate adjustments
- Operate appropriate painting and coating tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established production and safety procedures
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of powder-coating experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of powder-coating and painting techniques
- Understanding of coating materials and proper application methods
- Ability to read blueprints for job specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a production environment
- Dependable, conscientious, and safety-minded
