Laser operator / Shop Hand

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Pay: $26.00 - 29.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator / Shop Hand to support custom metal fabrication operations. This position will operate laser cutting equipment while also assisting with other shop duties as needed.

Job Duties

• Operate laser cutting equipment for metal fabrication
• Assist with general shop duties as needed
• Work with various metal materials and fabricated components
• Use basic math skills to complete production tasks
• Follow work instructions and production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Float between laser operation and other shop tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous laser operating experience
• General metal fabrication/shop skills
• Strong basic math skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Steel-toe shoes required
