Firstshift
General Laborers-Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparemetalmaterialsbysandingthe products
- Operate basic toolsand ability to read a tape measure
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all plant safety procedures
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
General Laborers-QualificationsandRequirements
- Previous manufacturing, industrial or general labor experience is preferred
- Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to read a tape measure to 16th
- Comfortable working around steel, heat, noise and industrial equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, reach and move throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots and required personal protective equipment must be worn
- Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Work Environment
This position is located inside an active steel galvanizing facility.
