Certified Medical Assistant -CMA

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy healthcare setting. This position combines front-desk responsibilities with hands-on clinical support, including patient rooming and phlebotomy.
Schedule

What you will be doing:

• Perform front-desk duties, including greeting and checking in patients, scheduling, and supporting patient flow.

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.

• Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information.

• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws safely and accurately.

• Prepare examination rooms and maintain appropriate clinical supplies.

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures as needed.

• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established safety and infection-control procedures.

• Provide professional, compassionate service to patients and collaborate effectively with the clinical team.

What you must have:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred/required based on assignment requirements.

• Phlebotomy experience required.

• Experience with both front-desk duties and patient rooming required.

• EPIC experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills.

• Ability to manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
