Schedule:32–40 hrs/week, includesevery other weekend(may include some major holidays)
Note:May requirefloating to nearby clinics. All roles aresafety-sensitiveandpatient-facing.
Position Summary
We’re seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)to support a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. You’ll deliver evidence-based care, administer medications/treatments, and document accurately in the EMR while providing a high level of patient service.
What You’ll Do
- Administeroral, injectable, IV, and topical medications
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and document responses to treatment
- Supportpoint-of-care testing, vaccine administration, andphlebotomy
- Collect/document medical history, medications, allergies, and related clinical data in the EMR
- Communicate effectively with patients/families and the clinical team
- Help maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
- Connect patients to appropriate resources and support education/self-care
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license(must be in good standing; no currentor priordisciplinary actions)
- BLS certification(expiration must beat least 30 days beyondthe start date)
- 1+ yearrelated healthcare experience
- Experience inPrimary Care, Urgent Care, or ERpreferred for success in this setting
- (Candidates with experience limited to long-term care settings may have difficulty adapting to this clinic environment.)
- Proficiency withEMR/EHR systems(Epic preferred)
Availability Expectations
- Training/orientation is approximately3 weeks
- Work schedules are built in6-week blocksafter training
- Typical week includes2–3 weekdays + every other weekend
- Example schedule expectation:~75 hours biweekly(e.g., Mon/Tue/Fri + every other weekend), with shifts generally7–10 hoursduring clinic operating hours
