As a resident, family-focused, and team-oriented individual, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality foods for our residents, guests, and employees. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques

• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs

• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary

• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes

• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal

• Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous office experience preferred

• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred

• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred
