Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement operations in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and deliver incoming inventory to stock while completing receiving transactions in the Oracle system.
- Prepare sales orders, gather materials for shipment, and complete required Oracle transactions.
- Pick materials for work orders using printed picklists and accurately issue inventory through the Oracle system.
- Stock completed sub-assemblies and accepted purchased parts.
- Pack materials for shipment and complete required shipping documentation.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with researching and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure materials are received, stored, and shipped according to company and applicable federal standards.
- Identify non-conforming materials, reject parts when necessary, and complete required non-conformance reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is helpful.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred.
- Must successfully complete forklift certification through the company trainer after placement.
- Ability to safely move and handle materials as required for the position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Compensation:
- $17.14 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
