Maintenance Technician – 3rdShift: Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport,Illinois,is seeking dependable individuals to join their team. We're recruiting for a Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift position to work full-time on overnight hours. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with machine pump-outs, perform basic handyman-type repairs, and help keep operations running smoothly throughout the facility. Training will take place on 1st shift before transitioning to 3rd shift.
Responsibilities of theMaintenance Technician:
- Perform machine pump-outs and clean equipment as needed.
- Complete basic maintenance and handyman-type repairs using hand tools.
- Assist with general facility upkeep and maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work in manufacturing environments that may involve dirt, grease, and other industrial conditions.
Maintenance TechnicianRequirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable using basic hand tools.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when required.
- Comfortable performing dirty or physically demanding work.
- Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug test.
- No felony convictions within the last 7 years; no violent criminal history.
Pay forMaintenance Technician:Starting at $19/hr.
