Position Summary
The Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, efficient beverage service with a primary
focus on draft beer. This position ensures beverages are served accurately and responsibly
while maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area.
Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests.
Pour and serve draft beer and other available beverages accurately and efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of current beer selections, styles, sizes, and beverage offerings.
Operate draft beer taps properly and monitor pours for quality and consistency.
Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and communicate concerns to management when
appropriate.
Set up, stock, organize, and break down the bar before and after service.
Maintain clean taps, glassware, bar equipment, counters, coolers, and service areas.
Monitor beer and beverage inventory and communicate restocking or keg-change
needs.
Change or assist with changing kegs safely according to established procedures.
Accurately process guest checks and payments when applicable.
Communicate with servers, banquet staff, and management to support smooth service.
Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties.
Qualifications
Previous bartending, beer-service, restaurant, or high-volume guest-service experience
preferred.
Basic knowledge of draft beer and proper beer-service procedures preferred.
Strong guest-service, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Must meet all applicable age and alcohol-service certification requirements.

maintaining beer quality, accurate pours, a clean bar, and a positive guest experience.
