Electrical Apprentice - Rexburg

Hunt Electric, Inc.is searching for afull-timeLicensed Electrical Apprenticeto join our team in our electrical division at our jobsite in Rexburg Idaho. This is not a travel position and has no travel pay included. Must be local to the Rexburg area.

TheLicensed Electrical Apprenticemust complete the number of hoursrequiredfor each year in the program (a minimum of2,000 hoursof “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship).

Major Duties:

• The ability to stand forlong periodsof time.

• The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.

• The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.

• The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.

• The ability tolift upto 100lbs.

• The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.

• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.

• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.

• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliancetoscheduled work hours.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.

• Be a self-starterand bedependable.

• Other duties orlocations asassigned byManager.

MinimumQualifications:

• Be enrolledin theappropriate apprentice-levelschool program.

• Have an activestateapprentice license.

• Musthave ahighschooldiploma or GED.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
