Job description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-orientedAssembly Workerto join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, packaging, and shippingfirearms and firearm componentsin a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or assembly experience, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to producing high-quality products while following strict quality and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assemble firearms and firearm components using a variety of hand tools and power tools while following detailed work instructions.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet company standards.
- Verify serial numbers and product information to maintain traceability and accuracy.
- Package completed firearms and components according to company procedures and shipping requirements.
- Assemble boxes and other packaging materials as needed.
- Pick, sort, organize, and stage materials for production and shipping.
- Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading deliveries, verifying incoming materials, and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Process customer orders by pulling materials, packing products, and staging shipments for delivery.
- Scan serialized products into the ERP or warehouse management system.
- Print shipping labels, packing slips, and required shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping records.
- Monitor packaging supply levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical documents.
- Basic computer skills; ERP or warehouse management system experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to legally work in an environment involving firearms and comply with all applicable company policies and federal regulations.
