ABOUT MY TIME 2 LAUNCH
My Time 2 Launch is a neurodiversity-affirming ABA organization serving families in Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. Our clinical work is grounded in the Empowerment Model, our strengths-based, dignity-preserving approach to Applied Behavior Analysis. We don't try to make people less themselves. We help them build the skills, confidence, and independence to live the lives they choose.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're looking for an experienced, emotionally attuned RBT to support a bright, academically capable high school student. This teen needs a steady, trusted presence to build social connections, stay organized and on track academically, and navigate the demands of the school day with confidence.

Most of your hours will be at school, supporting the student in class and during unstructured times. The rest will be at home after school, supporting routines, planning, and generalizing skills across settings.

This role requires more than technical skill. The right person is discreet, warm and patient. They understand teenagers, respect their autonomy, and know how to build rapport with someone who is smart, perceptive, and deserves to be treated as a partner in their own growth. Sensitivity to adolescent emotional wellbeing is essential.

HOW WE WORK: THE EMPOWERMENT MODEL
- Strengths first: We build on what the student already does well and what matters to them.
- Collaboration and assent: With a teen client, goals are pursued with the student, not done to them. Their voice shapes the work.
- Dignity-preserving practice: No restrictive or aversive procedures, ever. We protect privacy, independence, and self-respect, especially in front of peers.
- Built-in generalization: Skills are practiced across school, home, and real-world settings so they last.
- Family partnership: Caregivers are central members of the team.
- Data-driven, SMART goals: Clear, measurable progress guided by BCBA supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
At School
- Implement the student's individualized treatment plan during the school day under BCBA direction.
- Support social skills in natural settings: joining conversations, working with peers in groups, navigating lunch and transitions, and building friendships.
- Support executive functioning: organization, assignment tracking, time management, task initiation, and follow-through.
- Coach self-advocacy, such as asking teachers for help or clarification and using accommodations appropriately.
- Provide support discreetly and in an age-appropriate way that preserves the student's independence and standing with peers.
- Maintain professional, collaborative relationships with teachers and school staff, within the boundaries set by your supervising BCBA.

At Home
- Support after-school routines, homework planning, and academic follow-through.
- Reinforce social, emotional regulation, and independence skills in the home setting.
- Support caregiver partnership as directed by the BCBA.

Across All Settings
- Collect accurate session data and complete session notes on time.
- Follow the student's safety plan exactly as written. Notice changes in mood, behavior, or wellbeing and report
