Must have Minimum of 4 + years’ experience in product design, development and testing of products for Aerospace
Prefer design & development of interior aircraft components & systems with materials like: sheet-metal, machined and plastic parts & assemblies.
SolidWorks experience is required.
Knowledge of product data management and FE analysis.
Complete proficiency with Engineering Change Management
Experience developing qualification & test reports
Responsibilities:
Design & Development of components, assemblies, and subsystems for new product development per company and customer specifications.
Perform detail design using SolidWorks to generate 3D CAD models, detail drawings & generate analysis reports per the company, customer specifications and applicable designstandards.
Prepare Qualification test plans, similarity reports, acceptance test procedures, qualificationtest reports & other engineering documentations to support the qualification & certification of products per the applicable FAA and RTCA DO160 guidelines.
Develop and improve the design processes; create best practices & implementation across the projects.
Review design, and manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable industry andcompany standards.
Process ECO/ECN and implement design changes on assigned products, generating drawingsand documents and release them in EPDM system.
Devise and implement proof of concept prototype test plans, conduct tests; data collectionand test report generation to support the designs.
