Position Overview

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing operational strategies that support the continued growth, revenue, and profitability of Mobile Air & Power Rentals.

This position provides strategic leadership across branch and depot operations with a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, cost management, continuous improvement, and employee development. The Vice President of Operations will coach and develop operational leaders while ensuring the organization has the processes, resources, and infrastructure necessary to support continued growth.

As a key member of the Resolute Industrial leadership team, this position will also contribute to the development and execution of the overall company strategy.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for Mobile Air & Power Rentals branch and depot operations.

• Drive the cost-effective execution of operations while maintaining high standards of quality, service, safety, and customer support.

• Develop and monitor operational metrics that provide insight into efficiency, productivity, cost management, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Establish, manage, and monitor operational expenses across responsible functions.

• Support branch and facility expansion initiatives in alignment with the company’s organic growth strategy.

• Identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and cost efficiencies and develop effective business cases to support necessary investments and resources.

• Lead operational forecasting and assist with the development of monthly and annual budgets.

• Drive product improvements and support the development of new HVAC products and solutions.

• Provide leadership for company safety initiatives and ensure safety policies, procedures, and practices are consistently implemented across business locations and field operations.

• Ensure performance management and employee development processes are effectively implemented across the operations organization.

• Coach, mentor, and develop operational leaders to strengthen performance, accountability, and succession planning.

• Partner closely with senior leadership and ownership to develop both short- and long-term operational and company-wide strategies.

• Collaborate across departments to ensure operational initiatives support broader business objectives.

• Perform additional duties as required to support the continued growth and success of the organization.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, a technical discipline, or a related field required.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive management and leadership experience.

• Demonstrated experience leading operations within a multi-location organization.

• Experience with manufacturing, production management, equipment rental, industrial services, HVAC, or a related industry strongly preferred.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• Experience within the HVAC or equipment rental industry.

• Knowledge of heating, cooling, and temporary climate-control equipment.

• Experience supporting business expansion, facility growth, and organizational scaling.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly and indirectly supervises employees and leaders supporting Mobile Air & Power Rentals branch and depot operations.

Work Environment

This position operates in a combination of professional office, branch, depot, and field environments. The role requires regular interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and company leadership across multiple locations.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt leadership position. Hours may vary based on business needs and may require availability outside of normal business hours.

Travel

Approximately 50% travel is expected, although travel requirements may vary based on business needs.
