Director

Position Summary:

The Director will ensure that the school campus maintains the highest standards of educational excellence, safety, and operational efficiency.

The Director reports to the Head of Schools and owns all outcomes of the school, working to meet goals set by both the network and the director herself/himself.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

o Provide strategic leadership, scheduling, and oversight of all teachers and assistant teachers.

o Supports the school’s Assistant Director, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to manage the school effectively.

o Foster a positive and collaborative culture across the campus, promoting professional growth and development in alignment with the Eventus Education Principles of Successful Schools.

o Recruits, screens, and hires all staff to support the program needs of the campus.

Operational Oversight:

o Ensure the campus adheres to Eventus Education’s standards for curriculum, safety, and operational procedures.

o Oversee the implementation of educational programs and initiatives, ensuring consistency and quality in all classrooms.

o Monitor school performance through regular evaluations and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

o Utilize the school management platform (Playground) to assure efficient staffing and ratios.

Compliance and Regulation:

o Ensure the campus complies with local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

o Stay informed about changes in early childhood education laws and regulations and implement Eventus Education policies and procedures accordingly.

o Manage staff files to assure compliance with state and Eventus standards.

Budget and Resource Management:

o Own recruitment goals to support continuous school growth.

o Oversee the allocation of funds for program development, staff training, and facility improvements.

o Identify and pursue funding opportunities and partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of the programs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community members, and other stakeholders.

o Represent Eventus Education at local and national conferences, meetings, and events to promote our mission and programs.

o Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on program achievements and address any concerns.

Innovation and Improvement:

o Stay current with trends and best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into Eventus Education’s programs.

o Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance the quality of education and care provided at each school.

o Collaborate with educators, researchers, and industry experts to continuously improve curriculum and teaching methods.
