Quality Administrator

QMS Responsibilities:

· Maintain and continually improve the QMS in accordance with applicable requirements.

· Monitor QMS metrics and quality objectives. Report results to Top Management and coordinate actions when targets are not met.

· Maintain and control QMS documents, records, procedures, work instructions, forms, and external documents.

· Plan and coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits. Track findings and corrective actions.

· Serve as the primary liaison with certification bodies, customers, and auditors regarding QMS matters.

· Coordinate QMS training and awareness activities.

· Ensure employees understand their QMS responsibilities, quality objectives, customer requirements, and product safety responsibilities.

· Coordinate risk and opportunity management and monitor the effectiveness of risk controls.

· Report significant QMS risks, quality issues, and improvement opportunities to Top Management.

· Coordinate Management Reviews and track resulting actions to completion.

· Manage the Corrective Action and Preventive Action database. Coordinate root cause analysis and verify corrective action effectiveness.

· Coordinate with Purchasing and Supplier Quality on supplier quality issues, corrective actions, and performance.

· Assist management with Launch and Hold data and identify quality trends.

· Promote customer focus and compliance with applicable customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Manage the environmental and workplace safety systems.

· Identify and document the environmental aspects and impacts in the organization.

· Evaluate the legal impact of environmental issues and continuously review applicable laws to ensure compliance.

· Ensure the company complies with legal requirements related to environmental impacts.

· Assess legal compliance with OSHA requirements for workplace safety and health.

· Keep all documents related to the safety and health management system up-to-date.

· Ensure continuous employee training on safety and health topics.

· Schedule evacuation drills to minimize accident risks.

· Work with senior management to secure necessary resources for workplace safety and health.
