Converting Production Tech

The Converting Technician supports daily manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, handling materials, completing production records, and performing basic quality checks. This role follows established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures to help keep production running safely and efficiently.

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to approved procedures and work instructions.

• Support equipment setup, changeovers, startup, and line clearance activities.

• Load, stage, and handle production materials and components.

• Perform in-process inspections and basic quality checks.

• Complete production records, logbooks, and electronic documentation accurately.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), safety requirements, and company procedures.

• Identify and report equipment, quality, material, or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other team members.

• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.

• Develop proficiency on assigned equipment and manufacturing processes.

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.

• Manufacturing experience preferred; experience in a regulated environment is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic systems.

• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn new equipment and processes.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
