Snelling is seeking a talented Mechanical Service Technician to join a diverse team for a company in the Alabaster area. The service technician will be working on various custom-engineering equipment for foundry, forge, and steelworks environments.

Starting Pay Range: $23.00-25.00/hr, plus benefits

Mechanical Service TechnicianJob Duties include but are not limited to:

• Will inspect, service, and repair heavy equipment or components and provide written service reports from findings.

• Will be responsible for facility and grounds maintenance as needed.

• Will assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

• Will assist with spare parts processing as needed.

Mechanical Service TechnicianQualifications Required:

• 2-3 years of service experience, preferably in mechanical repair.

• Good level of technical aptitude including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.

• General knowledge of common PC software including MS Office, and e-mail.
