Instrument Test Technician Compensation
- Pay rate: $28.00 per hour
- Shift 7am to 3:30 M-F
Instrument Test Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization on instruments.
- Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues in test equipment.
- Analyze test data to determine pass/fail outcomes and provide solutions for failures.
- Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements.
- Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards; support mechanical and testing activities.
- Provide training to associates on mechanical and testing procedures as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety, and quality standards in all production activities.
Instrument Test TechnicianQUALIFICATIONS:
Critical Information
- Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- On-site; not near public transit; reliable transportation required
- Safety shoes required; work environment emphasizes safety and cleanliness
- Work involves mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and team collaboration
- Overtime required as needed to meet business demands
Education/Licenses Needed
- AA degree in Mechatronics or relevant field with no experience, or 3 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting
- Proficiency with mechanical tools and reading drawings; basic PC skills; strong math and analytical skills
