Job Description
Worked in Next Generation Sequencing platform software or similar Worked on Instrument/Embedded systems software testing. Need to be present in the lab 5 days a week as the role is to work on the instruments.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Groovy or Python. Proficiency in linux shell scripting.
Test Automation Frameworks: Must have Knowledge of popular test automation frameworks and particularly Playwright + TypeScript .
Web Technologies: Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
API Testing: Familiarity with API testing and understanding of RESTful APIs.
Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and collaborating with other team members.
CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and experience with Jenkins.
Test Case Design: Ability to design effective and efficient test cases covering different scenarios and edge cases, as well as understanding of test data management. Familiarity with Test Management tools such as Jama/HPALM with a level of managing/creating Requirements/Specification/Test Cases/RTM and Test summary reports in the tool for tracking User Needs to Report artificats.
Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, troubleshoot failures, and debug automation scripts.
Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
