Blending Room Operator: Beloit, Wisconsin
Our customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Blending Room Operator to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will support production by blending ingredients according to formulas, packaging finished products, and maintaining a clean and safe food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Blending Room Operator:
- Blend flour and other ingredients according to specific formulas for breadings, marinades, and similar products.
- Load ingredients into blending equipment, start mixers, and monitor the blending process.
- Accurately weigh, record, and document ingredient quantities for each batch.
- Package blended products into plastic-lined boxes, seal, label, and prepare for shipment.
- Load packaged boxes onto pallets and move completed pallets to shipping areas using pallet jacks.
- Move raw materials from storage to the blending area using forklifts as trained.
- Label finished products accurately based on product specifications.
- Clean and sanitize the blending room, equipment, and work areas as required.
- Assist with unloading raw material shipments when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
Blending Room Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and recording ingredients.
- Willingness to become forklift certified.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Pay for Blending Room Operator:$17.50/hour.
