Key Responsibilities
- Operate spray drying systems, evaporators, pumps, homogenizers, and associated processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut down spray drying operations according to established procedures and production requirements
- Monitor critical process parameters, including temperature, pressure, airflow, feed rates, moisture levels, and product quality attributes
- Perform equipment setup, product changeovers, and line clearance activities
- Collect product samples and perform basic quality checks against established specifications
- Troubleshoot process deviations and equipment issues and escalate concerns to appropriate Production, Quality, or Maintenance personnel
- Perform routine equipment inspections and assigned preventive maintenance activities
- Execute Cleaning-In-Place (CIP), sanitation, and equipment cleaning procedures
- Perform material-handling and warehouse activities, including staging, picking, weighing, replenishment, and movement of raw materials and finished products
- Safely operate forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment
- Load and unload trucks and properly store, identify, and handle raw materials, intermediates, processing chemicals, and finished products
- Perform accurate SAP and RF scanner transactions for material movements, inventory, production, and warehouse activities
- Complete batch documentation, production records, log sheets, inventory records, and other required documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring physical material movements are properly recorded in inventory systems
- Report inventory discrepancies, material shortages, safety hazards, equipment issues, quality concerns, and process deviations
- Maintain production, warehouse, and equipment areas in a clean, sanitary, organized, and audit-ready condition
- Follow applicable GMP, HACCP, AIB, ISO, food safety, quality, PPE, and plant safety requirements
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other teams to support efficient operations
- Participate in continuous improvement, operational excellence, safety, quality, and productivity initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Leader, Supervisor, or Production Management
