Executive Assistant
Location: Lyons, GA
Department: Administration
Reports To: Plant Manager
Starting Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Position Summary
SelecSource is seeking a professional and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the Plant Manager and leadership team at one of our clients while helping ensure the efficient operation of administrative functions within the facility.
This position will coordinate office operations, executive support, communications, scheduling, records, meetings, and special projects. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage executive calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and expense reporting.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, presentations, reports, and business documents.
- Screen and prioritize emails, phone calls, visitors, and other communications.
- Support leadership with strategic initiatives, special projects, and administrative needs.
- Oversee daily office operations and maintain office procedures and filing systems.
- Monitor office supplies and equipment and coordinate maintenance or service needs.
- Serve as a liaison between plant personnel and corporate departments.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and plant events.
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and meeting minutes.
- Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and external business partners.
- Compile, review, and distribute reports, spreadsheets, and operational data.
- Maintain confidential records and sensitive business information.
- Assist with budgets, purchasing, invoices, and administrative expenses.
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation.
- Assist with employee onboarding, interview scheduling, candidate visits, and personnel documentation.
- Support training coordination and employee communication initiatives.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in an office environment but may require periodic access to production and warehouse areas. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
When entering production areas, required PPE may include hair/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, and other facility-required PPE.
Physical Requirements
The position requires frequent sitting, keyboarding/data entry, and telephone use, with occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and stair climbing. The position may require lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally, with heavier lifting occurring rarely.
Safety & Compliance
The Executive Assistant is expected to follow all company safety policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety and security requirements, and all required PPE procedures when entering operational areas.
