We are seeking experienced Lightning Protection Apprentices to join our team. As a Lightning Protection Apprentice you will be responsible for overseeing and performing various installation tasks in the construction industry. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise or a desire to learn a specialty in lightning protection and grounding systems.
Lead Installers and Apprentices Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and qualify under the Company Insurance Policy
- 100% Travel. Travel during the week and home on weekends
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen test
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write in English
- Proven experience in lightning protection systems, general construction, and/or oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in installation work
- Work on high roofs and with ladders.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
