Responsibilities
- Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
- Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture.
- Assist with employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Serving as back up for administering New Hire Orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist the HR Generalist with performance management processes and employee relations matters.
- Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.
- Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of admin support experience
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.
- Exceptional problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
- Practical understanding and application of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
- Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, internal and external parties.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, well organized, and quick response times.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the role.
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player with excellent work ethics. Strategic planning skills.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
