Looking for meaningful work in the Omaha community?

Alora Supports is looking to connect with a caring, reliable Direct Support Professional to support a individual in Bennington, NE. We build our support teams around each individual, and this opening has two shift opportunities available, covered by separate staff teams:

  • Supported Family Living approx. 30 hrs/week. Mom covers weekday evening hours, so this role covers the remaining daytime support.

Available shifts:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

You're welcome to apply for either shift or both, depending on your availability. We do not currently offer overnight shifts.

  • Must be at least 19 years old

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must be willing to undergo a background check

  • Must be compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others succeed

What You'll Do

  • Provide one-on-one support in the home and out in the community

  • Assist with daily living activities, personal goals, and skill development

  • Support community participation, social engagement, and independence

  • Build a positive, professional relationship with the individual and his family

Experience
No prior experience is required. Experience in any of the following is helpful:

  • Direct Support Professional

  • Caregiving

  • Direct Care

  • Home Health

  • Personal Care

  • Behavioral Health

  • Human Services

  • Developmental Disabilities Services

  • Special Education

  • Healthcare

Paid training and ongoing support are provided.
