LHH is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its accounting and finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to lead key accounting functions, develop team members, drive process improvements, and serve as a strategic business partner within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close while demonstrating the leadership skills necessary to mentor staff, improve processes, and support broader business objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related accounting functions
  • Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and other financial initiatives
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
  • Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Lead accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or management experience preferred
  • Strong background in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close
  • Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems or other accounting software preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPA, CMA, or other professional certification is a plus

Compensation: $110,000-$150,000

Benefits

Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
