Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.
Assist students in appropriately engaging and participating in class.
Collect and record data on client progress.
Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Primary Support Areas
Emotional, sensory, and behavioral regulation throughout the school day.
Functional communication during frustration, denied access, transitions, and work demands.
Flexibility with changes in routine, staff, preferred items, activities, or anticipated scripts.
Receptive, expressive, and social language, including unfamiliar WH questions and multi-step directions.
Academic engagement, especially phonological processing, decoding, writing, math, and task persistence.
Daily living and school independence skills that remain in progress, including some grooming, dressing, classroom, and safety skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in an educational setting.
Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)
