Shop/Warehouse Maintenance Supervisor

Company Overview:
Our client designs, fabricates and installs automated material-handling systems, including conveyors, sortation equipment, controls and custom machinery for manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Shop/Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse, fabrication and material-handling activities. This position will oversee personnel, inventory, shipping and receiving, equipment readiness and shop-floor workflow.
Responsibilities:
•Supervise warehouse, fabrication and machine-shop employees.
•Assign daily work and monitor safety, quality and productivity.
•Coordinate receiving, inspection, storage and shipment of equipment and materials.
•Maintain accurate inventory, tooling and spare-parts records.
•Stage components and equipment for installation projects.
•Support fabrication, assembly and testing of conveyor and automation equipment.
•Coordinate material requirements with engineering and project teams.
•Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead lifting equipment and shop machinery.
•Maintain warehouse equipment, tools and company vehicles.
•Monitor project schedules and communicate material shortages or production delays.
•Enforce LOTO, PPE, machine-guarding and housekeeping requirements.
•Maintain organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
•Coordinate outside vendors, repairs and equipment servicing.
•Complete inventory, shipping and production documentation.
Required Qualifications:
•3+ years of warehouse, manufacturing or fabrication-shop experience.
•Previous lead or supervisory experience.
•Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control and material staging.
•Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
•Ability to read fabrication drawings, bills of materials and equipment documentation.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
•Comfortable working around conveyors, machinery and fabricated assemblies.
•Basic computer skills, including inventory or ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
•Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.
•Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
•Conveyor, automation or material-handling systems.
•Metal fabrication, welding, machining or equipment assembly.
•Electrical panels, motors, sensors or industrial controls.
•Coordinating materials for field-installation projects.
•Inventory, ERP or warehouse-management software.
•OSHA, forklift, rigging or LOTO training.
