Drivers

Drivers are responsible for safely operating company vehicles and assisting with patient transportation within the scope of their training and assigned duties.

Drivers must:

• Maintain a valid driver's license and follow all traffic laws and company driving policies.

• Wear required seat belts as well as operate vehicles safely and responsibly.

• Maintain professional conduct with patients and facility personnel.

• Complete required vehicle inspections and checklists before and after shift.

• Report vehicle problems, accidents, and safety concerns promptly.

• Perform only duties for which they are trained and authorized.

Drivers who are not medically credentialed should not represent themselves as EMTs, paramedics, or other medical professionals.
