Medical Assistant Certified

Busy Rheumatology Practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our great team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to the keep the medical facility running smoothly. The position will work closely with each Rheumatologist as well as with a great team of Medical Assistants. We offer great benefits as well as a great work schedule. The office is open Monday through Thursday and closed on Friday's to the public.

Responsibilities:

• Take patient histories, perform vital signs, record information in EMR System.
• Cross train for back office and infusion suites CMA duties.
• Schedule tests, return patient calls
• Ensure that physician runs on schedule by efficiently rooming patients in a timely fashion
• Process prescription refill requests as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare and Electronic Medical Records
• Strong organizational skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to thrive and work in a fast-paced environment
