RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees daily Quality Control operations, ensuring timely review, inspection, and release activities while balancing customer commitments, departmental priorities, and business objectives
- Develops, monitors, and communicates area performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability, operational visibility, and continuous improvement
- Responsible for effective resource planning by identifying capacity constraints, operational risks and future resource requirements to support projected increases in production volume and organization growth.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Control processes, procedures, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency, record keeping practices, and scalability.
- Supervises and encourages personnel through coaching, performance management, succession planning, training, and employee development
- Leads investigations related to quality events, nonconformances, and process deviations by facilitating root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions through cross-functional collaboration.
- Partners with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, and other stakeholders to remove operational barriers, improve throughput, and optimize movement of product through the quality system. Pa
- Oversees personnel management including scheduling, staffing, PTO management, workload prioritization, and cross-training to ensure business continuity and promoting employee wellness
- Supports internal audits, regulatory inspections, customer audits, and compliance activities by ensuring records, documentation, and processes maintain inspection readiness
- Conducts regular team meetings, performance reviews, and operational planning sessions to align personnel with business objectives, department goals, and customer requirements

REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in quality in a regulated environment
- 2+ years of direct leadership or supervisory experience
