Worldwide Reinsurance Limited (WRe) is an international reinsurance company providing innovative risk solutions to clients in more than 50 countries. We specialize in underwriting complex risks across Property, Marine, Aviation, Liability, Surety, and other specialty lines.
We are seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail oriented individual looking to build a long term career in one of the most specialized sectors of the insurance industry. No prior reinsurance experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review insurance and reinsurance submissions.
- Analyze underwriting information and exposure data.
- Assist underwriters with evaluating and pricing risks.
- Review claims histories and loss trends.
- Prepare underwriting summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records within company systems.
- Communicate professionally with brokers, clients, and internal departments.
- Research industries, geographic regions, and emerging risks.
- Assist with portfolio analysis and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and demonstrated analytical ability.
- Underwriting experience with a minimum of 1-2 years, strongly advised to apply.
- Recent graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn new software and technical concepts quickly.
- Self motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.

Training Position
- Part-time
- $20.00 per hour
- Hands on mentoring from experienced underwriting professionals
- Successful trainees may be offered a full-time salaried position based on performance, aptitude, and successful completion of the training program.
