Automotive Lube & Tire Technician -- Quick Lane

Full-time | $18–$24+ per hour, based on experience and ability

Have experience changing oil, servicing tires, or performing basic vehicle maintenance? Porcaro Ford is hiring Quick Lane technicians who want to build their skills and grow with our service team.

Experience at a quick-lube shop, tire shop, independent repair shop, or dealership is welcome. Starting your automotive career? We also consider mechanically inclined applicants and automotive students who are ready for hands-on work and paid training.

• $18–$24+ per hour, based on experience and ability

• Higher starting pay may be available for applicants with stronger technical skills, certifications, or experience performing additional repairs

• Perform oil and filter changes

• Rotate and service tires; check tire pressures

• Complete multipoint vehicle inspections

• Service batteries, filters, wipers, and fluids

• Perform basic brake and maintenance work as your skills allow

• Communicate inspection findings and maintenance needs to the service team

• Keep your work area clean and organized

• Complete work efficiently with attention to quality

• A valid driver’s license

• Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in automotive service

• Attention to detail and pride in completing work correctly

• The ability to work well with other technicians and the service team

Previous oil-change, tire-service, or automotive maintenance experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Full-time. Some Saturdays may be required.

Porcaro Ford is a locally operated dealership in Racine. We prefer to develop technicians from within and give strong Quick Lane performers opportunities to build their skills.
