System One is actively seeking aWarehouse Associatefor a permanent position located in Odessa, TX. The position is responsible for directing efficient and effective operations of the warehouse facility. Managing local inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods, inventory management and filing claims. Overseeing local outbound activities related to order filling, stock replenishment, and shipping. Responsible for the local will-call counter, facility and equipment operation. Administers overall inventory management, productivity, and accuracy.
Essential Job Functions
- Providing customer service for walk in customers.
- Performing and ensuring accuracy of Cycle Counting.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Ability to pace with workload.
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
- Operate shipping manifest systems.
- Forklift operation may be required.
- Ability to assemble parts and create small assemblies.
- Overseeing the shipping/receiving, including, picking, and packing of parts.
- Ability to follow processes within a Quality System.
- Ability to use/operate and navigate basic computer programs.
- Delivering parts to customer location in company vehicle will be required.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma required
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse setting preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to stand all day
- Clean driving record/safe and legal operation of company vehicle
Requirements:
- Experience in customer facing warehouse environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to move heavy objects.
- Highly skilled in operating/handling equipment (Fork Life, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently.
- Documented capability to read, count accurately and do simple math calculations.
- Proven record of maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Responsible for quality control.
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrates a complete and thorough understanding of local company policies, strategies, our quality system (SQS), associate handbook and corporate policies.
- Ability to provide clear and concise answers to questions.
- Prioritizes well.
- Can effectively handle obstacles and opportunities.
- Seeks to always improve all facets of their performance and the company’s performance.
- Is creative / innovative.
Office Equipment and/or software knowledge:
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience with an ERP system such as SAP B1 is preferred.
- Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Reader

Working Conditions/Environmental Exposures
- Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled warehouse or other human factors friendly environment, and clean environment.
- Noise level may be noisy. Ear protection may be required to be worn.
- No environmental hazards are encountered in performance of normal job duties.
- Employee may be required to travel within the immediate area in a company vehicle.
