Maintenance Supervisor

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join one of our long-term Clients team at (1) of their properties in St. Charles, MO (63303). The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. This role will mostly be working on make ready/unit turns, but will need to be able to handle work orders as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience in residential maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or management position. This role is looking for a strong leader who can help manage a team.

This role will be working with (1) community with 486 market rate units.

Salary: $30/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am – 6pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts, and passage locks.
• Always demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service.
• Maintain Property Grounds and common areas to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop and other work areas.
• Preventative Maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 4 years' experience in residential maintenance and at least 2 years in a lead or management position.
• CPO certification is preferred, experience is required.
• HVAC certification is preferred, experience is required.
• Experience in unit turns, preventative maintenance and work orders.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation as this role will eventually have on-call.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug test before employment.
