Job Summary

Simplify Chemical Solutions is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. This role is ideal for a dependable individual who values safety, teamwork, and customer service. The position is primarily responsible for safely operating the company's 20- and 27-foot box trucks and Ford Transit vans to deliver products to schools and other customers across New Jersey, while also assisting in warehouse operations from time to time, such as order picking, inventory management, and general logistics support. Key Responsibilities

Safe Driving: Operate company 20- & 27-foot box trucks & vans safely and professionally to deliver products to schools and customers across New Jersey.

Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report basic maintenance needs.

Loading & Unloading: Safely load, unload, and move products using manual lifting (up to 60 lbs.) and company-provided equipment (dollies, carts, pallet jacks).

Order Fulfillment: Pick, stage, and verify orders accurately against delivery tickets.

Customer Service: Represent Simplify Chemical Solutions professionally when interacting with school staff and customers.

Problem-Solving: Manage issues such as delivery denials, returns, or unexpected delays with professionalism and clear communication.

Team Support: Collaborate with warehouse and logistics staff, assisting with tasks outside of driving when needed.

Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE.

Technology Use: Use smartphones, email, and basic PC systems for delivery confirmations, route updates, and logistics communication.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ( CDL is a plus ).

Screening: Must pass background check and drug screening.

Experience: Prior delivery or warehouse experience preferred; training available for motivated candidates.

Technical Aptitude: Comfort using smartphones, GPS, email, and basic computer systems.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, climb stairs, push carts, and stand for long periods.

Customer Focus: Strong communication skills and professional demeanor when working with school staff.

Mindset: Reliable, punctual, safety-first approach with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Compensation & Benefits

Working Hours: 7:00 AM till 3:00 PM. Monday through Friday

Starting Pay : Salary Range: 50,000 to 70,000 Salary offered will be determined by experience, CDL license, and other factors
