Description

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Masters degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Ph.D. degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysisSecret Clearance must be active prior to the start of the position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the programMay derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other software applicationsCandidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

This is a Contract position based out of Melbourne, FL.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
