Job Summary

The CNC Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and operates CNC mills and lathes in a high-volume production environment. This role produces plastic components, wood, and laminated products while maintaining accurate setups, consistent quality, and safe, efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills and lathes for production runs.
• Perform CNC programming and adjust machine parameters as needed.
• Load materials and operate equipment during high-volume production.
• Perform tool changes and monitor tool condition.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
• Perform quality control checks and dimensional measurements.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operating issues.
• Follow safety procedures and production requirements.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in CNC machining.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and setup.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of precision measurement and quality control.
• Proficiency using calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC machining issues.
• Strong attention to detail.
