Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations within a heavy equipment remanufacturing facility focused on engines, transmissions, and powertrains. This role handles receiving, inventory management, material handling, and parts delivery to production lines, while also performing industrial painting and paint preparation. The position plays a key role in ensuring that parts flow efficiently through the facility so equipment can be disassembled, cleaned, repaired or replaced, reassembled, tested, and returned to customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect new and core parts as they arrive at the facility, ensuring quantities and quality meet requirements.
• Check incoming materials and parts into the warehouse system to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Pull and deliver parts from storage locations to production lines in a timely and organized manner to support ongoing remanufacturing operations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely to move, load, and unload parts and materials.
• Stock parts in designated warehouse locations, organizing inventory to support efficient retrieval and production needs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling of materials and proper documentation of all movements and transactions.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to verify stock levels and support continuous improvement in inventory control.
• Pull internal orders from warehouse racking to ensure production teams receive the correct parts and materials when needed.
• Perform paint preparation activities such as sanding, cleaning, and masking parts prior to painting.
• Use spray guns and work in paint booths to apply industrial coatings to parts, following established procedures and quality standards.
• Wear appropriate respirators and other required protective equipment while painting to ensure personal safety and compliance with safety guidelines.
• Support production by assisting with general labor tasks related to engine, transmission, and powertrain remanufacturing as needed.
• Follow all safety requirements and guidelines at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to facility safety rules.
• Contribute to a culture of employee ownership and open-book management by engaging with operational and financial information and sharing ideas for improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $21.26/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lexington,KY.
