• Location: Muncie, IN
• Schedule: 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm); mandatory weekly overtime
• Starting pay: $20+ (based on shift and experience)
• 2nd Shift Rate: $19.00/hr + $1.00 shift differential ($20.00/hr)
• Status: Full-time; weekly pay

Picture this: You open the blueprint pack, confirm the latest engineering change notices, and stage components. By end-of-shift you have:

• Installed large components and sub-assemblies into an electrical compartment
• Routed loose wires and cables to the proper components and completed terminations
• Terminated cables neatly and to spec throughout the compartment
• Applied the correct torque values and confirmed gauge calibration
• Followed process and quality gate sheets without compromise
• Partnered with Quality to resolve any non-conforming conditions
• Left your area organized and audit-ready

• Install harnesses/loose wires to panel assemblies and terminate at designated components
• Build plug assemblies and terminate per plug charts
• Fabricate wire harnesses from process drawings
• Mentor and train colleagues

• 1+ year manufacturing experience (heavy industrial preferred)
• Can accurately read a tape measure
• Comfortable with hand tools
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring/wire schematics (preferred)
• Positive, learning-oriented attitude
• Forklift and/or crane experience (preferred)
• Basic PC/data entry skills
• Experience within industrial environments, heavy structural assembly, and safe use of hand/power tools and measuring devices

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 75 lbs
• Constant walking; frequent sustained bending, crouching, stopping, kneeing, squatting; reach overhead; climb ladders
• Must follow written/verbal instructions and hear audible alarms
• Work on concrete, gravel, and rail car/locomotive floors; at heights from floor to tops of locomotives; in confined spaces
• Non-temperature-controlled areas; all weather conditions; high noise and dust
• Comfortable working alone
• Safety-sensitive environment near active tracks, rail cars, locomotives, and moving equipment; adhere to all safety protocols, health/medical screenings, and required PPE
